But Miller’s trip to Missouri for the Tigers’ ‘Night At The Zou’ event made a big impression on the Class of 2017 standout.
“Man, it was great,” Miller told BlackAndGoldIllustrated.com on Saturday night at the conclusion of the event. “I loved it here. I loved it here.”
Where does Missouri rank now?
“Mizzou is No. 1 right now I’d say,” Miller said.
There were a lot of things Miller experienced that had him liking the Tigers after his visit to campus and competing at the camp.
“With Missouri, when I came here, just the environment,” Miller said. “I talked to some of the players. They were cool. The coaches, they were fired up. They introduced me well. They fed me good; I’m talking about real good. I liked the food. I came out here and I’m talking to the GAs (graduate assistants). They were talking real good. I’m not talking about persuading. They were being real. I like people that are real. They tell you the truth, tell you what’s up. Just stuff like that.”
Miller said he wasn’t being pressured or persuaded into making a commitment, which is something that he liked about the Tigers.
“Going through their history, they are telling me to actually watch them before I make a decision,” Miller said. “They are keeping it real. They’re not just saying, ‘Hey, you need to come here, this is where it’s at.’ They are actually keeping it real.”
