The recruiting process doesn't seem to be getting any easier for Larry Boyd.
The Trinity Catholic High School Class of 2017 offensive tackle is down to four schools — Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma State and Arkansas — and visited two of those schools, Missouri and Illinois, the past two weekends.
Boyd was in Columbia on July 23 for Missouri's 'Night At The Zou' event and he enjoyed it, including spending time with his friend, freshman tight end Brendan Scales.
"It was just a fun experience and I already know the coaches and it's like a family, so I had a good time," Boyd told BlackAndGoldIllustrated.com.
This past weekend, Boyd and his high school teammate, Isaiah Williams, visited Illinois for the first time.
"I was surprised. I liked it," Boyd said. "I didn't think I was going to like it. At first I didn't even want to go, but I loved Illinois. It's a good school. I liked the campus. I like the coaches. I really like the coaches. Illinois is a good school and I can see myself playing there."
