Missouri 2018 Standout Post Prospect Carte'Are Gordon Names Top 11 Schools

Standout Class of 2018 post player Carte'Are Gordon narrowing down his list of schools.

Webster Groves (Mo.) High School junior standout power forward Carte'Are Gordon released his top 11 schools via his Twitter account late Thursday night.

Gordon, a 6-foot-8, 250-pounder, is rated as the sixth-best center prospect in the Class of 2018 and the 47th-best prospect overall.

Gordon’s list included, in no particular order, Notre Dame, Kansas, Oklahoma State, USC, Missouri, SMU, Kentucky, Texas, Illinois, St. John's and Saint Louis

“I would like to thank all the schools and coaches that have recruited me thus far,” Gordon wrote. “But after long consideration I have decided to cut my list to 11.”

Gordon visited Missouri recently — “They said I could be legendary there, be historic, and be a big piece to their program and help them get a national championship because if I go other players will start coming,” Gordon said. “But they need me to start it.” — and said he was planning to visit Notre Dame and Kansas next.
