KIRKWOOD, Mo. — Chaminade High School Class of 2018 four-star defensive tackle Trevor Trout was all over the field in the Red Devils' 22-14 season-opening win at Kirkwood on Friday night.
A 6-foot-3, 300-pounder, Trout has scholarship offers from Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, Texas A&M, UCLA and Indiana along with interest from several other programs. The big defensive lineman showed why during his team's win.
Trout played defensive tackle and then tight end in Chaminade's jumbo formations. He finished with eight tackles and a sack but was an impact player on both sides of the ball in a tough road victory.
Trout talked about the victory and his recent trip to Mizzou in this video from BlackAndGoldIllustrated.com...
