Mizzou Commitments: Week 1 Roundup

Some of Missouri's commitments were in action this past weekend...

Some future Missouri Tigers were on the field for their season openers this past weekend. Here's a look at how they fared...



Lee’s Summit North and wide receiver Da'Ron Davis, who transferred to LSN for his senior season, lost its season opener 37-19 to visiting Park Hill. 

Davis provided one of his team’s highlights with a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.


Pompey Coleman and Ben Davis opened the season with a 70-0 victory. 

The senior offensive lineman spoke with Scout.com after the win about his goals, his progression and what Mizzou coaches have been talking to him about.


Whitehaven High School, the top-ranked team in Memphis, and linebacker Aubrey Miller opened the season with a 33-0 win over Mitchell High School. 


Jamal Brooks and his Bessemer (Ala.) City Tigers beat Central (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) 26-0 in the season opener thanks to three second-half touchdowns. 


Offensive lineman Case Cook and his Carrollton (Ga.) High School squad earned a 16-6 victory against Newnan at the West Georgia Kickoff Classic.  



Blue Springs opened the season with a 57-43 win over Lee’s Summit. Daniel Parker played defensive end and right tackle.
