CHESTERFIELD, Mo. — Parkway North High School has at least four Division I prospects on its roster, including three on defense, and all four players contributed to the Vikings' 7-0 win at Marquette on Friday night.
On a night when the offense scuffled, the defense saved the day — including coming up with stops late in the fourth quarter after Marquette had first and goal from the Vikings' 3-yard line.
Michael Thompson Jr., a Class of 2018 two-way lineman with offers from Ohio State, Michigan, Missouri and several others, had a big day with seven tackles and two sacks while also having a strong game at left tackle. Middle linebacker Ryan Newton, a Class of 2017 prospect committed to Miami (OH), had a team-high 12 tackles and added a sack. Class of 2019 safety Jalani Williams, who picked up his first two offers from Missouri and Iowa State this week, had six tackles and a few key pass break-ups down the field. Class of 2017 kicker-punter Jack Faron, who has a few offers, helped flip field position with his punting.
Here's a look at those prospects...
