The Missouri Tigers coaching staff moved redshirt senior walk-on Tyler Hanneke from defensive end to tight end during fall camp and last weekend gave him the news that he was being put on scholarship for his final season.
“He’s already graduated. He’s a graduate student at this point," Missouri coach Barry Odom said. "He moved over to the offensive side and he’s playing both ways in some certain spots. He’s a starter in some of our special teams units and is a kid that he’s deserved everything he’s getting at this point and continues to do it every day in practice.”
Hear what Hanneke said about those two changes when he spoke with reporters on Monday in this video from BlackAndGoldIllustrated.com...
