The Missouri Tigers returned and routed visiting Eastern Michigan in Week 2. Up next is a far more difficult challenge against the Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday in the Tigers’ Southeastern Conference opener.
Missouri is coming off a 61-21 win over Eastern Michigan, while Georgia beat visiting Nicholls 26-24.
“They’ve got athletic ability on the offensive side that causes problems,” Missouri coach Barry Odom said of Georgia. “Their tight ends are three really good players. I like the play of both their quarterbacks. The running game is strong. Then on the defensive side there’s a lot of guys out there running around that are really, really good. I like their scheme and their structure. They do a lot of great things.”
