Wide receiver DaRon Davis had a monster game to help his Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North squad snap a three-game losing streak on Friday night with a 48-21 win at Liberty (Mo.) High School.
Davis had eight receptions for 173 yards and three touchdowns as senior quarterback Caleb Aston threw for 364 yards and five touchdowns.
In the past two games, Davis has 13 catches for 319 yards and five scores.
Wide receiver Jafar Armstrong scored three touchdowns as his Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, Kan.) High School squad improved to 6-1 with a 51-0 win at Eudora (Kan.) on Friday night, which was their sixth straight victory.
Armstrong finished with four catches for 102 yards and two touchdowns and also added a 34-yard touchdown run.
Wide receiver @Roderick Fo and his Southwest High School (Fort Worth, Texas) squad have now scored 50 or more points in back-to-back games following their 56-25 win at Trimble Tech on Thursday night.
Ford had a 75-yard touchdown run in the win and also caught a touchdown pass as Southwest improved to 5-2 on the season.
Joshuah Bledsoe and his Dekaney (Houston, Texas) High School squad improved to 3-4 on the season with their second straight victory, a 31-19 win against Benjamin Davis (Houston, Texas) on Friday night.
Bledsoe carried the ball nine times for 45 yards and two touchdowns and was credited with three tackles on defense.
Quarterback Reyondous Estes threw two touchdown passes and ran for another as East St. Louis (Ill.) High School defeated visiting Collinsville (Ill.) High School on Friday night.
Estes completed 13 of 18 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns and ran two times for 23 yards and a score. The 60 points were a season high for East St. Louis, which improved to 8-0 going into Friday’s regular-season finale at O’Fallon.
Offensive lineman Hyrin White and his De Soto (Texas) High School squad improved to 7-0 with a 51-7 win against visiting Irving (Texas) High School on Friday night.
De Soto was dominant offensively with three 100-yard rushers and up 418 yards on the ground. The Eagles added 195 yards through the air for 613 total yards.
Carrollton (Ga.) High School and center Case Cook improved to 6-1 on the season with a 37-24 win at Hiram (Ga.) High School on Friday night.

Long snapper Adam Bay and his Desert Ridge (Ari.) squad had a six-game win streak snapped with a 27-13 loss against visiting Mountain Pointe on Friday night.
Bay, who also plays defensive end, was credited with one tackle in the defeat.
Offensive lineman Larry Borom and his Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) squad defeated Traverse City (Mich.) Central High School 20-17 in three overtimes on Friday night.
It was the second straight victory for Brother Rice, which improved to 5-3.
Middle linebacker Jamal Brooks and his Bessemer (Ala.) City High School squad bounced back from a loss to beat visiting Bryant High School (Cottondale, Ala.) 35-14 on Friday night.
Bessemer City improved to 5-3 on the season.
Undefeated Whitehaven High School (Memphis, Tenn.) and standout linebacker Aubrey Miller were off this weekend.
Whitehaven (8-0) hosts Collierville (Tenn.) High School (3-5) this Friday.

Tight end Logan Christopherson’s Lemont (Ill.) Township High School squad improved to 8-0 with a 43-7 win at Tinley Park (Ill.) High School on Friday night.
Christopherson is out for the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury.
Ben Davis (Indianapolis, Ind.) High School offensive lineman Pompey Coleman is out for the season after suffering a broken leg in the second game.

Junior defensive lineman Josh Smith and his Landry-Walker High School (New Orleans, La.) squad earned their fifth straight victory with a 47-27 win over L.W. Higgins (Marrero, La.) High School on Friday night.
