Wide receiver Jafar Armstrong and his Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, Kan.) High School squad extended their win streak to seven games with a 50-0 win at DeSoto (Kan.) High School. 

Armstrong caught three passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns as Bishop Miege improved to 7-1.

Wide receiver Roderick Ford and his Southwest High School (Fort Worth, Texas) squad had their three-game win streak snapped with a 35-20 loss against visiting Wyatt (Fort Worth, Texas) High School on Thursday.

Ford had a 90-yard kickoff return touchdown in the loss, which dropped Southwest to 5-3 on the season.

Quarterback Reyondous Estes and East St. Louis (Ill.) High School capped off an undefeated regular season with a 46-14 win at O’Fallon (Ill.) on Friday night. 

Estes completed 15 of 20 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns, giving him 15 TD passes on the season. He also ran for 20 yards on three carries.

Offensive lineman Hyrin White and his De Soto (Texas) High School squad improved to 8-0 with a 41-17 win at Duncanville (Texas.) High School on Friday night. 

De Soto, which racked up 613 total yards of offense a week earlier, gained 543 total yards against Duncanville — 282 passing and 261 rushing.

Wide receiver DaRon Davis and Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North squad saw their season end with a 45-13 loss at Springfield (Mo.) Kickapoo on Friday night. 

Davis, who had 13 catches for 319 yards and five touchdowns in his previous two games, was limited to two receptions for 23 yards as Lee’s Summit North finished 2-8.

Defensive back Joshuah Bledsoe and his Dekaney (Houston, Texas) High School squad had a two-game with a 27-26 loss at Spring (Houston, Texas) High School on Friday night. 

Bledsoe scored two touchdowns on offense and finished with seven tackles, including one for loss, on defense. Dekaney fell to 3-5 on the season.

Middle linebacker Jamal Brooks and his Bessemer (Ala.) City High School squad improved to 6-3 with their second straight victory, a 47-14 win against visiting Brookwood (Ala.) High School on Friday night. 

Brooks was credited with 13 tackles.

Carrollton (Ga.) High School and center Case Cook improved to 7-1 on the season with their third straight win, a 34-14 victory against visiting Hell (Marietta, Ga.) High School on Friday night.

Carrollton gained 325 total yards (194 rushing, 131 passing) in the win.

Long snapper Adam Bay and his Desert Ridge (Ari.) squad lost for the second straight game, this time a 20-17 defeat at Desert Vista (Phoenix, Ari.) High School on Thursday night. 

Desert Ridge fell to 6-3 on the season.

Offensive lineman Larry Borom and his Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) squad beat visiting Pershing (Detroit, Mich.) 53-0 on Friday night.

Brother Rice, which improved to 6-3, has won three straight games.

Following a bye week, Whitehaven High School (Memphis, Tenn.) and standout linebacker Aubrey Miller returned to action and improved to 9-0 with a 43-3 victory against visiting Colliersville (Tenn.) High School.

Miller had a team-high 10 tackles and added a sack in the win.

Tight end Logan Christopherson’s Lemont (Ill.) Township High School squad improved to 9-0 with a 54-6 win against Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, Ill.) High School on Friday night. 

Christopherson is out for the season with a shoulder injury.

Ben Davis (Indianapolis, Ind.) High School offensive lineman Pompey Coleman is out for the season after suffering a broken leg in the second game.

Junior defensive lineman Josh Smith and his Landry-Walker High School (New Orleans, La.) squad earned their sixth straight win with a 61-7 victory at Cox (Harvey, La.) High School on Thursday night. 

Smith was credited with one of his team’s four sacks. Landry-Walker improved to 6-2 on the season.
