Standout linebacker Aubrey Miller and his Whitehaven High School (Memphis, Tenn.) squad finished the regular season with an unblemished 10-0 record following a 21-6 victory at visiting Cordova (Tenn.) High School on Friday.

Miller had four tackles in the win, which featured a battle of unbeaten teams.

Quarterback Reyondous Estes and East St. Louis (Ill.) High School opened the Illinois Class 7A playoffs with a 44-7 win against visiting Lincoln-Way West on Saturday. 

Estes completed nine of 16 passes for 155 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 42 yards and a touchdown on six carries. 

East St. Louis improved to 10-0 on the season. The Flyers will host Glenbard North (8-2) at 1 p.m. this Saturday. One of Glenbard North’s top players is junior cornerback Tyrik Henderson, a Missouri recruiting target.

Wide receiver Jafar Armstrong and his Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, Kan.) High School squad improved to 8-1 with a dominating 57-19 win against visiting Spring Hill (Kan.) on Friday night. 

Armstrong caught four passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns — his third consecutive game with more than 100 yards receiving and two scores.

For the season, Armstrong has 37 receptions for 853 yards and 13 touchdowns and has two rushing touchdowns and one kickoff return TD.

Offensive lineman Hyrin White and his De Soto (Texas) High School squad improved to 9-0 with a 68-0 win against visiting Nimitz (Irving, Texas) High School on Friday night. 

The 68 points was a season high for De Soto, which gained 674 total yards (451 rushing, 223 passing) in the victory.

Carrollton (Ga.) High School and center Case Cook improved to 8-1 on the season with their fourth straight victory, a 42-14 victory at Paulding County (Dallas, Ga.) High School on Friday night.

Defensive back Joshuah Bledsoe and his Dekaney (Houston, Texas) High School squad improved to 4-5 on the season with a 55-7 win at Aldine (Houston, Texas) High School on Friday night. 

Bledsoe returned a punt for a touchdown and had an interception.

Middle linebacker Jamal Brooks and his Bessemer (Ala.) City High School squad fell to 6-4 with a 16-3 loss at Huffman (Birmingham, Ala.) High School. 

Brooks had eight tackles in the defeat.

Offensive lineman Larry Borom and his Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) squad ran their winning streak to four games with a 35-16 Michigan Division 2 playoff win at Cousino (Warren, Mich.) High School on Friday.

Wide receiver Roderick Ford and his Southwest High School (Fort Worth, Texas) squad lost at South Hill (Texas) 55-0 on Friday night. 

Southwest fell to 5-4 on the season with its second straight loss.

Wide receiver DaRon Davis and Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North squad finished the season with a 2-8 record. 

In eight games, Davis racked up 56 receptions for 703 yards and five touchdowns and also had a kickoff return touchdown.

Tight end Logan Christopherson's Lemont (Ill.) Township High School squad improved to 10-0 with a 35-13 playoff win against visiting Oak Forest (Ill.) High School on Friday night. 

Christopherson is out for the season with a shoulder injury.

Ben Davis (Indianapolis, Ind.) High School improved to 7-3 with a 49-13 win at Brownsburg (Ind.) High School. 

Offensive lineman Pompey Coleman is out for the season after suffering a broken leg in the second game.

Junior defensive lineman Josh Smith and his Landry-Walker High School (New Orleans, La.) squad earned their seventh straight win with 41-14 victory against visiting East Jefferson (Metairie, La.) High School on Thursday night. 

Landry-Walker improved to 7-2 on the season after losing its first two games.
