Mizzou Duo Honored by Southeastern Conference

Missouri's Aarion Penton and Charles Harris were named to the All-Southeastern Conference coaches' teams on Tuesday.

Missouri cornerback Aarion Penton and defensive end Charles Harris both earned recognition from the Southeastern Conference on Tuesday when the coaches’ All-SEC teams were announced.

Penton, a senior, was a first-team selection. Harris, a redshirt junior who last week declared for the NFL Draft, was a second-team pick for the second consecutive season.

Penton led the SEC with five interceptions and 17 passes defended and added 43 tackles and a quarterback hurry. He returned an interception for a touchdown in the win over Vanderbilt on Nov. 12.

Harris led Mizzou in sacks (nine), tackles for loss (12) and quarterback hurries (10) and added 61 tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two pass break-ups.
