JUCO OL Yasir Durant Commits to Missouri

Junior college offensive lineman Yasir Durant committed to Missouri on Monday night.

Junior college offensive lineman Yasir Durant became the Missouri Tigers’ 20th verbal commitment on Monday night.

Durant, a 6-foot-7, 340-pound freshman at Arizona Western who took an official visit to Mizzou over the weekend, decommitted from San Diego State and committed to the Tigers. He announced his decision on Twitter.

Durant, who has three years of eligibility remaining, is expected to sign on Wednesday and enroll at Missouri in January.

Durant is the second verbal commitment of the day for the Tigers, following Florida running back Isaiah Miller, and the fifth offensive lineman commitment in this recruiting class.

Barry Odom and his coaching staff looked to add talent and depth to a position group that struggled with numbers last offseason and this group accomplishes that goal.
