Mizzou Hoops Blown Out at Arkansas

Missouri falls at Arkansas, 92-73, for the Tigers' eighth straight loss.

The Missouri Tigers' shooting struggles and road woes continued on Saturday night at Arkansas.

The host Razorbacks led from start to finish and ran away from the visiting Tigers, 92-73, at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville.

The loss was the eighth straight for Missouri, which fell to 5-11 overall and 0-4 in Southeastern Conference play. The Tigers have now lost 28 consecutive games on the road.

Missouri, which got a game-high 20 points from junior forward Jordan Barnett, couldn’t make enough shots and couldn’t make enough key plays fell to 5-10 overall and 0-3 in conference play with its seventh straight loss. 

Arkansas improved to 13-4 overall and 2-3 in league play.

Missouri had four players in double figures, led by Jordan Barnett 14 points on six-of-11 shooting. Jordan Geist and Terrence Phillips each added 13 points. Kevin Puryear finished with 11.

The Tigers shot 38.6 percent from the field (22-57), 34.6 percent from 3-point range (9-26) and 62.5 percent from the free throw line (20-32).

Missouri is back in action on Wednesday at Alabama (10-6, 3-1).
