Missouri gets a commitment from defensive tackle Caleb Sampson on Signing Day.

Louisiana defensive tackle Caleb Sampson committed to Missouri during a Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday morning at his school.

Sampson, a 6-foot-4, 285-pound two-star prospect, became the 24th verbal commitment in the Tigers’ recruiting class.

He was committed to Tulane when Missouri offered him a scholarship months ago and he decommitted from Tulane after taking an official visit to Mizzou in early December.

Sampson took an official visit to Kansas State last weekend.

The Covington (La.) High School standout recorded 31 tackles and 2.5 sacks as a senior in 2016.
