Mizzou adds eighth commitment

Among the traits college football coaches look for when recruiting offensive linemen is toughness, size potential, and footwork. Ryan Madison has all three of these desirable qualities, and he wants to be a Tiger.

TheInsiders.com learned this afternoon offensive lineman Ryan Madison had made a verbal commitment to the University of Missouri. Shortly thereafter, we confirmed with South Harrison head coach Wes Croy that the commitment indeed happened.

"Ryan committed to Coach Pinkel and the Tigers this afternoon," said Coach Croy.

Danny Heitert, author of the STC Grid Report writes that Madison plays offensive guard in a split back veer attack. He has good quickness, runs well, and has size potential.

Heitert goes on to note that Madison needs to become stronger to compete at the D1 level.

The 6'5, 260 lbs. athletic lineman chose the Tigers over heavy interest from Kansas.
