The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Wednesday afternoon that freshman QB Darrell Jackson has been charged in St. Louis County Family Court on "undisclosed juvenile charges."
The Post-Dispatch reported that Jackson was released after being charged. His certification hearing is scheduled for Sept. 16.
Missouri officials continued to comment, without detail, that Jackson had "personal business" to attend to at home in St. Louis. He left the team overnight and returned in time for practice Wednesday afternoon.
The matter did not seem to affect Jackson's on-field performance, as he participated in all segments of the afternoon practice and fared quite well.
Jackson will continue to face fellow freshman Chase Patton for the No.3 quarterback position, beginning in practice tomorrow morning.
