67-49, MU falls at Ames

It was the low-water point for Missouri on the road this year offensively. Failing to crack the 50 point barrier, the Tigers fall below .500 in a sloppy loss to Iowa State in Ames.

Normally, we would take a few moments to recount the high points for the Missouri Tigers, even in a loss. After tonight's debacle in Ames, it's difficult to find any silver linings.

Perhaps the only player of note was senior Jason Conley who contributed a double-double, and didn't contribute to the 22 turnovers committed by the Tigers tonight.

Missouri returns to Columbia with one more regular season game in the 2005 season. Kansas will be in town this weekend, and it would be a needed lift for all concerned if Missouri could rally, shake off the dust from the road, and come to play with some vigor and heart vs. their arch rivals.

The Tigers will then head to Kansas City for the Big 12 Tournament, where they will have to run the table in order to qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
