St. Louis Camp Notes

JP Rock reviews the field and reveals the players from each class that distinguished themselves at the recent Mizzou St. Louis camp.

It had to make Tiger fans at camp feel good to see Tiger commit Bart Coslet having extended conversations with and walking around with Adrian Clayborn, Jerry Brown and Robert McField near the end of camp. Those young guys together would look good along the Tiger defensive line in a couples years.

It was also good to see Hazelwood East coaches at camp along with players Ken Stewart 6`1" 215 DE and QB/ath Carl Word.

Best name at camp, not including Chigbogu Anunoby, would have been Nick Nasti 6`1" 215 RB/LB from suburban Chicago area Plano HS. Nasti will only be a junior next year, but he is a good athlete that also wrestles and competes in throws in track.

Antonio Brown 6`0" 160 WR Parkway Central- Brown stood out during WR drills with good hands, speed and athleticism.

Dominique Griffin 6`2" 190 WR/DB Francis Howell- The Vikings throw the ball very much, but Griffin looked the part of a weapon at WR on Sunday.

Francis Howell North trio of Justin Coaxum, Zack Kling and Jacob Glose 6`1" 185 lbs. safety.

Matt Hogan 6`5" 310 OT Ft. Zumwalt South- Great size did 19 reps on the bench.

Hannibal line duo of Tyler Perry 6`6" 270 and Josh Bennett 6`2" 290 DT

Aaron Hunter 6`2" 270 DT Lutheran North

Andrew Berryman S Francis Howell Central

Special mention of Grandview LB, Jarrod McDaniel, who made the trip over; even though the Tigers hold camp in KC next Sunday.

CLASS OF 2007:

Adam Kiel 6`7" 256 TE/DE St. Domenic– Great size and athleticism. He also plays basketball for Gateway AAU. Showed nice hands and decent speed.

Previn Perry 5`10" 185 RB Lutheran North- Talented running back who ran for 725 yards and 13 TDs as a sophomore. He reportedly had a 39" vertical jump at camp.

Jimmy Freeman 6`4" 250 DT Herculaneum

Chad Stanley 6`2" 190 DE/TE Francis Howell North

Mike Ward 6`4" 174 WR Hazelwood Central
