Missouri's Likely Position?

The Skinny

Olu Famutimi Missouri & Arkansas Missouri appears to be the leader Olu has visited Columbia, and MU's staff have recruited him the longest. Arkansas has made a strong late push and can't be discounted as a contender for this athletic swing man.
Loul Deng Duke & Missouri Duke appears to be the leader Contrary to many reports, Supermizzou has learned that the Tigers are in position to potentially land Deng if Duke runs out of available scholarship.  Missouri continues to stay in close contact with Deng.
Thomas Gardner Missouri, UConn & Louisville Missouri appears to at least in the top two right now This stud shooting guard continues to rip up the summer AAU circuit, and contrary to reports from several recruiting sites, is not considering ANY PAC 10 schools right now. Gardner likes Missouri's program alot, but still has not visited the campus.  Look for that to happen later in the season.
Linus Kleiza Maryland, Missouri, several others Missouri is at worst in the top two, and may lead The Lithuanian big man has visited Columbia and had an excellent trip.  Kleiza has been mentioning Missouri as his favorite behind the scenes recently and could be heading to Columbia.
Spencer Laurie Missouri and several others Missouri appears to be the leader This slick shooting point guard has continued to impress this summer during the AAU season.  He's very coachable, has excellent range on his outside jumper and has strong family ties to the program.

Shannon Brown

Missouri, Kansas & several   others Who knows? This top-flight combo guard has maintained that he doesn't want to discuss his recruiting situation.  However, since Illinois recently capped their 2003 class and they were considered to be a front-runner for Shannon, Missouri may very well be in strong contention.
