"Coach (Bo) Hembree has moved (teammate and top D-I prospect) Bret Smith from outside receiver to quarterback and has moved me from the slot position to outside receiver for the upcoming season," Fellows told HR on Tuesday evening. "I'm looking to have a really big year."
Last season wasn't too shabby for Fellows either as he managed to catch 59 passes for 944 yards with 14 touchdowns in addition to averaging 21 yards per kickoff return with one more score. At corner, he recorded 39 solos with a whopping 10 interceptions, returning one of those for a touchdown.
Being an outstanding player on both sides of the ball, RoShaun was asked which side he would prefer to play in college.
"Well, I am more comfortable with the ball in my hands," he said. "So it would be offense."
The six-foot-one, 185-pound Fellows, has posted a 4.41 forty, 10.7 100-meter and 22.1 200-meter. He benches 200, squats 300 and has a 36-inch vertical leap. An excellent student, "Ro" as he is called by his teammates, carries a 3.2 GPA and will take his ACT in October.
Fellows was asked about current favorites.
I like Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State and Missouri," he said. "I already have offers from Tennessee, Arkansas, Auburn and Oklahoma State."
And does he have one favorite in particular?
"I do, but I'd rather not say," Roshaun laughed.
Given his ability, that favorite will be glad when Fellows finally goes public.
He is currently ranked 73rd overall in-state on the Heartland Recruiting Regional Top 160.
