Tis the season to be traveling.
Not because it's almost Christmas time, high school prospects are traveling across the country taking official visits to the schools of their choice.
How did his visit to Missouri go?
"It went really well," Hamilton told InsideMizzou.com Sunday afternoon from a DFW area airport. "It was really cold there, but it was a lot of fun."
It had snowed two days prior to Hamilton's arrival and there were several signs of the winter precipitation left.
"It was like a winter wonderland," Hamilton said. "I really liked the campus; they have great facilities at Missouri."
"Right now I would say that Missouri is definitely in my top three with Arkansas and Oklahoma State," Hamilton said. "Oklahoma is saying that they will probably offer next week, I may take a visit there as well. If not I will probably take a trip to Nebraska."
Did this weekend's trip help Missouri's cause with Hamilton?
"The Tigers stock definitely raised some," Hamilton said. "I really like Coach Hill and Coach (Gary) Pinkel. Coach Pinkel is a little quiet, but he is a great coach and a really cool person to be around."
Hamilton, a 6-foot-2, 202-pound wide out, is known for his speed and big play capability.
"I ran a 10.5 100 meter last summer and a 21.4 200," Hamilton said. "Missouri wants me to play the outside wide out position."
Hamilton also liked how close everything was on campus.
"The dorms were really nice, everything is so close together," Hamilton said. "I really liked all of their facilities."
Hamilton plans on making a final decision a week after his last visit.
"Right now I'm scheduled to take a visit to Arkansas on the 9th of January, Oklahoma State on the 16th and probably Oklahoma on the 23rd."
