For one Missouri commitment things are starting to heat up at the end of the recruiting season.
With National Signing Day two weeks away, long time Missouri commitment Terrance Lloyd of Texas is getting pressure from an in state Big 12 school.
Baylor entered the picture the last month; it appears that the Bears are making up some ground on Missouri after an official visit to Waco this past weekend.
InsideMizzou.com reached Lloyd Wednesday evening to discuss his Baylor visit and see where the talented defensive end stands currently for Missouri.
"Right now I'm still committed to Missouri," Lloyd said. "My trip to Baylor went very well, I love the campus and it's close to home."
The closeness factor from Waco to Houston Texas, Lloyd's hometown appears to be a factor that may have put Baylor into higher consideration.
"Missouri has everything I want in a football program," Lloyd said. "The only thing is that it's not home. I don't want to be there and be unhappy. It's so far away."
Lloyd committed to Missouri back in September after taking a visit to Columbia.
"I really love everything about Missouri, the coaches, the players, everything," Lloyd said. "It's a really nice place, a great place to be at, feels good there. That's why I went a head and committed, I may have rushed my decision a little because it felt so good there."
While Lloyd declares that he is still committed to Missouri, he did state that he will make a final decision in the near future.
"Yes I will make my final decision pretty quick," Lloyd said. "The main difference right now is how close to Houston Waco is. Baylor is like being at home."
