One of the nation's top athletes already has more offers than he can remember.
For Tulsa Central's DeMarco Cobbs, getting offers from the country's top football programs have become an everyday occurrence.
"Right now I have over 13 offers, probably more I just can't keep up with all of them," Cobbs told InsideMizzou.com. "I have interest in everyone that likes me at this point, I will narrow them down later."
Cobbs, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound athlete, who plays quarterback for his high school team, stated that most schools are recruiting him to play wide receiver. His 4.48 speed has college recruiters very interested in him continuing his career at the next level on the offensive side of the ball.
Cobbs has a wide range of schools that have already offered the Scout.com four star prospect. Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Tulsa, Alabama, Florida, and Auburn.
It appears that there was one school that was an early favorite, that things have appeared to changed.
"At one point I was really liking Texas as my early favorite," Cobbs said. "I had always pictured myself playing for the Longhorns, things have changed a little with them, everyone is even now, there is no early favorite anymore."
Cobbs definitely has interest in of the Big 12 North Schools, the Missouri Tigers.
"They are definitely in my top three or four schools right now," Cobbs said. "I'm trying to get a way up there to check things out and see for myself what it's all about."
Cobbs is looking to work on two things over the spring and summer.
"I want to consistency run a 4.4 forty," Cobbs said. "I also I want to put on about 10 to 15 pounds of muscle and not lose any of my speed."
Cobbs currently has plans on attending a Nike Camp this spring and also wants to attend the Vegas 7-on-7 tournament.
