It appears that Gary Pinkel and his coaching staff are eyeing the Lone Star State for some much needed beef on offensive and defensive lines for the Tigers.

Dominic Espinosa of Cedar Park Texas, located just outside of Austin has several official offers and appears to be on the verge of another.

"Right now I have offers from Texas A&M, Baylor, LSU, Stanford, Houston, Tennessee and SMU," Espinosa told InsideMizzou.com Monday evening. "I understand that Missouri is close to offering."

Does Espinosa have interest in Mizzou?

"They are one of the top Big 12 programs year in year out," Espinosa said. "I definitely have interest in Missouri."

Espinosa, a 6-foot-3, 280-pound athlete who runs a 5.1 forty, earned First team All-District honors and All Cen-Tex Team honors as a junior.

"I plan on trying to visit all the schools that offer me," Espinosa said. "I may try to camp at Mizzou this summer, it would give me the opportunity to get to know their coaching staff better. I have heard nothing but great things about their program. I look forward to learning more about them."

Espinosa relocated to Texas from California in the eighth grade, so he really didn't grow up in the Lone Star State rooting for one of the Texas based teams.

"I really don't have an early favorite at this point," Espinosa said. "I'm mainly looking for a school that has a great academic reputation, a place that I feel good about, somewhere I can call home for the next four years of my life."
