Josh Bell, a RB out of Sugar Land, TX is yet another player from the Lone Star state with interest in the Tigers.
This junior stands at 5 foot 11 and weighs 195 pounds. He consistently runs a 4.5 in the 40. Bell expressed interest in the Tigers when he spoke with insidemizzou.
"They have a good offense and a good program. I mean they have a lot of athletes on offense," Bell said. "I went to the Baylor game last year and I liked them."
Missouri continues to recruit the state of Texas, Bell is waiting for an offer from the Tigers. "They haven't given me an offer yet, but it's still early," said Bell. "I'd like to take a visit up there."
Bell indicated that he is also looking at Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Oregon. Missouri doesn't top his schools of interest, but they are in the top five. Bell said "I would definitely put Missouri up there in the top five."
On the field Bell feels like he brings a lot to the table.
He said "I have a good feel for things and I can find the hole. I like to attack the defense. I'm confident in my abilities."
In the Missouri offense Bell feels like he could be an all-purpose back.
"I like to catch the ball coming out of the backfield. So I think I could be good going to a school like Missouri."
As a junior at Kempner HS Bell earned first team all-district honors. With a big senior campaign Bell may garner more interest from the top schools, Missouri included. In the mean time he'll be working to improve on a solid junior season. And, maybe the Tigers will have a scholarship waiting for this all-purpose RB.
