"I was at one of Mizzou's first practices," Vincent said. "I really like their faculties and their coaching staff."

Vincent, a 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive end who runs a 4.8 forty, currently has six offers, including one from Mizzou. The other schools who have offered include Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and San Diego State.

Vincent also took a visit to the Kansas campus this past Monday.

"I know a lot of people at Kansas already," Vincent said. "I have several friends that are already on the team there. I have gotten to know the coaches there a lot."

How does Missouri compare with Kansas for Vincent?

"I will have to be honest, Missouri and Kansas are pretty much neck and neck for my services," Vincent said. "I like both of them a lot. I was impressed on how friendly the players were at Missouri."

Is Vincent close to a commitment?

"No I don't think so," Vincent said. "I plan on making a decision before the end of my senior season if not before the end of summer."
