It appears that Jenson is using the relationships he has built over the years to help his new Tiger team.

Scout.com four star wide receiver Trovon Reed confirmed with InsideMizzou.com Monday night that he indeed has an offer and interest from the Missouri Tigers.

"Yeah I have interest in Missouri," Reed said. "I like their offense. I have seen Jeremy Maclin play; I know he did great in that offense."

Is Reed familiar with Coach Henson?

"Coach Henson has been recruiting me for a while," Reed said. "While he was at LSU and now at Missouri, we have developed a pretty good relationship."

Reed, a 6-foot-0, 175-pound athlete who runs a 4.4 forty, played several positions for his Thibodaux Louisiana High School team, but expects to play wide receiver at the college level.

"Last fall I played quarterback mostly, some wide receiver and some time at running back," Reed said. "All the colleges are saying wide out."

Reed keeps in contact with Henson.

"Coach Henson tells me how nice it is up there," Reed said. "He said it's a place where I you don't get into much trouble, play football and get a great education."

Reed hopes to take a trip to Columbia sometime this spring or summer.

"He wants me to come up," Reed said. "I'm planning on it, hopefully before the summers over."
