It's no wonder that one of the top offensive linemen in the Show Me State recently received a four star rating.
InsideMizzou.com caught up with the standout lineman Sunday evening to get the latest on his recruitment.
Does Demien have an early leader?
"I would have to say that Mizzou has the edge right now," Demien said. "I grew up as a Tiger fan."
The 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive lineman has been to the Columbia campus on several occasions.
"I have been there several times," Demien said. "It's definitely a nice campus. Everyone is so nice there. The last time I was there I got a chance to visit with Coach Bruce Walker."
Demien hasn't met new offensive line coach Josh Henson yet, but the former LSU assistant has already made an impression on the Missouri lineman.
"I have received several hand written letters from Coach Henson," Demien said. "He has been telling me how important I am to this year's recruiting class."
Demien plans on taking an unofficial visit to Mizzou for a spring practice in the next couple of weeks.
"They want me to come to the spring game or one of their practices," Demien said. "I'm going to try my best to get to one."
Does the standout offensive lineman plan on making a commitment anywhere in the near future?
"I don't think so at this point," Demien said. "I want to make several unofficial visits this spring and summer before making a final decision."
Tiger fans are hoping that he stays close to home. We at InsideMizzou.com will keep you up to date on Demien's recruitment.
