Several local, area and Texas High School prospects are expect to ascend on Columbia Missouri this weekend for the Tiger's Annual Black and Gold Game.

One Texas athlete that has confirmed with InsideMizzou.com that he will be in attendance is Grapevine offensive lineman Dalton Forsythe.

"Yes I'm going to be at the University of Missouri spring football game Saturday," Forsythe said. "I'm very excited about the trip. I have heard a lot of great things about the school."

Forsythe currently has no official offers but has been receiving a lot of material from the Tiger coaching staff.

"I mailed them my film a while back and now they are recruiting me pretty hard," Forsythe said. "I'm hoping that I might get an offer this weekend."

Forsythe, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound athlete who runs a 5.1 forty, is very well aware of the Tiger's success the last few seasons.

"I know they completely dominated folks in the Big 12 last year," Forsythe said. "I know they have won back to back 10 win seasons."

This summer the offensive tackle will work on staying low and getting better leverage in the trenches. He is currently benching 275 pounds and squatting 390. He has a 3.86 GPA on a weighted scale.
