InsideMizzou.com caught up with 6-4, 225 pound DE Tony Washington this Wednesday. Though he is a California product with several Pac 10 offers including Arizona, Arizona State, and Oregon State, Washington expressed a great deal of interest in Missouri's program.

"I am definitely interested in Missouri," Tony told InsideMizzou.com. "They have had a lot of success, but are still, kind of, looked down on."

Washington admitted that he really likes Missouri's style of play. He said that their "quicker play" and "their mean attitude" are both things that he would be interested in while deciding where to attend college next fall.

For an athlete who lives in Pac 10 country, Washington told reporters that he is very fond of the Big XII. "I like the competition of the Big XII," he said during our interview.

Missouri has yet to offer Tony Washington a scholarship but there is still time for coach Pinkel to jump on the bandwagon. Tony said that there is no timetable for when he will make his decision. "I'm still going to take some time and make my visits to schools." Afterward, Washington said that he will sit down with his family and decide which school is best for him.

This Scout.com three star athlete has drawn lots of attention from many of the Pac 10 elite, however the question remains: Has he done enough to gain the attention of the Tigers coaching staff?
