Trey Millard is a highly sought out middle linebacker from Rock Bridge Senior High School in Columbia, Missouri. He has received offers from schools all across the nation, and InsideMizzou caught up with him to find out what he thinks of the school right down the road.

"I got offers from Mizzou, Kansas, Oklahoma, Syracuse, Wyoming, Arkansas, South Carolina and Stanford," Millard told me on Thursday. The 6-2, 230 lb high schooler's ability to play at both middle linebacker and tight end has drawn a great deal of attention.

Trey Millard has taken time out of his schedule to to attend several school's camps. "I've been to Kansas, Stanford and Syracuse, and then I went to Iowa and Oklahoma while they had camp but I didn't get to participate in those. I was just there on an unofficial and I watched a little bit of the camp but didn't actually get in on it."

Growing up in Columbia, Trey said that he has always been impartial towards Missouri. Even though Millard did not grow up a Tiger fan, he still is very impressed with their program. "They took the last two tight ends to the pros," He said of the Mizzou organization. "They have been getting into good bowl games, winning, doing well."

When it comes to narrowing down the offers, Millard has come up with five schools that interest him most. "My top five is probably Syracuse, Oklahoma, Iowa, Mizzou, and South Carolina."

Trey also spoke highly of the Mizzou coaching staff during the interview. "(They are) all good guys. I like all of them," he said. "From what I've seen of them actually coaching they are good, I like their coaching style."

Many factors go into an athletes decision when choosing a school to play for, but with Trey it all boils down to one major thing. "It's just the overall feel." With his senior season at Rock Bridge coming soon, Trey told me that he plans on making his commitment by mid August. InsideMizzou.com will keep you updated through his decision process.
