Anthony Gatti commits to Missouri

The Missouri Tigers received their 10th commitment for the class of 2010 today. Mizzou continues to get bigger and stronger on the offensive line, an imiportant part of competing in the Big XII. Go inside to see what Gatti had to say about why he committed to be a Tiger during his visit today.

InsideMizzou talked to Parkway North offensive tackle Anthony Gatti last week and heard of his plans to visit the Missouri campus today. Little did we know that Gatti would be ready to make a commitment on his visit.

"Yes, I did commit to Missouri today," Gatti told Inside Mizzou in an interview on Tuesday evening. "I enjoyed my visit. I felt like I had a good bonding experience with the team and the coaches and everything felt right."

Gatti told InsideMizzou in his earlier interview that he wanted to make a decision by the time his senior season started, but he wasn't exactly certain that it would happen. Did Gatti come to Mizzou today thinking that he was going to commit?

"No I didn't know, it just felt comfortable there and I knew it was right for me," Gatti said.

Even though the St. Louis offensive tackle obviously felt the most comfortable at Mizzou, he still had considerable interest in schools like Wisconsin and Ole Miss.

"It was tough because I still had interest in some of the other schools," Gatti said of his decision. "I kind of broke it down and knew that Mizzou was the right fit for me."
