Josey's Visit Changes Things

Texas RB tells how visit changed thoughts of visiting other schools

Back in September, Angleton, TX  RB/DB Henry Josey 5'10"185 committed to the Missouri Tigers to play football for them in 2010.

Last week reports surfaced that Josey was considering taking visits to several other schools including TCU and Iowa.

After his official visit to Missouri this past weekend, Henry Josey says things have changed.

" I'm solid to Missouri." Josey said when speaking to him on Monday. "The visit was great. It changed a lot of things for me and I will not be taking any other visits. The only reason I would do that would be for my Grandparents who I live with. They are older and if they wanted me to stay close so they could watch me play them I would have to think about it for them."

And which school is close enough that would be under consideration for a visit?

" It would be TCU, but I don't have anything planned and don't intend to set anything up."

I asked Henry what about the visit helped solidified his commitment to the Tigers.

" I arrived on Friday and it was a real eye opener for me. Everything was cool. The players were all great. There was a real family atmosphere among the team and coaches. The other recruits were real cool Even the academic people were real cool and explained things about my major, which is computer science, that just made me realize Missouri was the right place for me."

Josey continued on about his visit.

" I also enjoyed getting to watch practice. It was real intense and long. I am use to those types of practice. We run almost the same offense and I will fit right in."

Josey informed me that he will be playing running back at Missouri.
