Easterly Talks Tigers

Detroit defender Daniel Easterly talks about why Mizzou

Detroit, MI Cass Tech safety prospect, Daniel Easterly 6'5" 205 lbs. 4.5 forty, is committed to play football at Missouri for Gary Pinkel's Tigers.  Easterly is a hard hitting safety, who may grow into LB after he arrives at Missouri.

When I spoke with Easterly about his commitment to Missouri, he impressed me as a very intelligent and very conscientious young man, whose primary concern regarding his choice of schools hinged on academics. Daniel is a very good student.

He spoke about his decision to choose to attend Missouri over Illinois, to whom he was previously committed.  "It's primarily the educational aspect, instead of the football part.  I want to major in broadcast journalism, and Mizzou is the number one school in broadcast journalism.  I mean, I liked everything about both schools, but it really came down to the educational aspect with broadcast journalism at Missouri.  On my visit (to Missouri), it was really good.  I'm really excited about the broadcasting journalism school.  That was a very exciting experience.  And, they have the new station on campus and all that stuff.  That was another exciting thing to me.  The game day atmosphere was really exciting, too."

Daniel Easterly said that he had previously met Dexter McDonald, and that he and Dexter had become friends.
