Missouri Early Top 21 For 2011

With signing day for 2010 behind us now it is time to turn our attention to the class of 2011. Today I take a look at the early list of top 21 for 2011 in the state of Missouri.

1. Anthony Pierson 5'11" 177 RB/CB 4.38 Gateway Tech-Missouri commit
- Averaged over 12 yards per carry each of last two years

2. G'Darius Stevenson 6'0" 190 RB 4.47 New Madrid County Central
- Will battle for the top prospect spot with Pierson in 2011.Complete package at RB. Could also play Safety.

3. Corbin Berkstresser 6'4" 218 4.8 Lee's Summit- Missouri commit
- Big,strong-armed, smart QB with good leadership skills

4. Dan Tapko 6'5: 235 DE/TE   Rockhurst
-Athletic big has shown the skill to play in either side of ball

5. Wesley Leftwich 6'2" 195 WR 4.31 Columbia Hickman-Missouri commit
-Blazing speed that is just scratching the surface with football skills

6. Kody Walker 6'1"225 RB 4.7 Jefferson City Offers: Missouri,Arkansas
-Big,agile back with good game speed and receiving ability

7. Rob Standard 5'10" 180 4.49 Chaminade Offers: Nebraska
-Workhorse back-Strong inside/out runner who rushed for over 2,000 yards and 40 TDs

8. Bernard Thomas 5'11" 180 CB 4.45 Blue Springs
- Excellent cover corner skills, w/ speed,strength and athleticism -36" vertical

9. Darrian Miller 5'10" 195 RB 4.49 Blue Springs –Offers: Iowa,K-State
-Buzzsaw runner between the tackles- good speed- 2,800 yards rushing 37 TDs as junior

10. Matt Killian 6'7" 270 OT 4.9 Francis Howell
-Super athletic big, also plays some DT-great feet,speed-basketball player

11. Christian Suntrup 6'2" 202 QB 5.1 Chaminade Offers: Stanford,Nebraska,KU,K-State
- Heady signal caller with desired QB measureables-size,arm,mobility

12. Brandon Hannah 6'3" 236 WR Chaminade Offers: Missouri?
-Big athletic receiver who's been on the radar screen since 8th grade- recovering from knee injury- otherwise a top 10 prospect

13. Cameron Coffman 6'3" 170 QB 4.8 Raymore-Peculiar Offers: Nebraska,Kansas St., Wyoming
-Wiry QB with great bloodlines and ability. Needs to get bigger,stronger.

14. Josh Temple 6'3" 215 DE 4.6 Cardinal Ritter
- Super athlete. Likely Olympic boxer- top flight amateur Heavyweight. Brings aggressive,physical nature to football field along with good speed.

15. Jason Meehan 6'3" 215  4.7 LB Webster Groves
-Received multiple defensive player of the year awards. Big hitter with great motor

16. Noah Pearl 6'0" 186 CB 4.44 Rockhurst
- Played RB as Jr.- Great speed (sprinter) size and physical hitter

17. Nevar Griffin 6'2" 207 WR 4.46 McCluer North
-Great combo of size,speed,strength,hands. Team doesn't throw much but half of all passes Griffin caught went for TDs.

18. Malcom Agnew 5'9" 180 RB/CB 4.45 DeSmet
-Samll but strong back with great quickness and speed. Also top flight CB.

19. Devonte Majors 6'2"213 WR 4.6 Ft. Zumwalt West
-Big, physical receiver with great hands. Lacks burner speed but runs well after catch and is hard to tackle for HS defenders

20. Teddy Corwin 6'6" 225 TE/DE ? DeSmet
- New to football after being primarily a basketball player. Great size,hands,quickness and motor. Big target had 9 TDs on offense and 15 sacks at DE.

21. Caleb Sims 5'10" 180 4.45 William Chrisman
- Transferred in from Rockhurst last year and made a big splash.Only played RB-1,400 yards- but has outstanding DB skills and athleticism-36." vertical-3.8 shuttle
