Like most teams every year, the Missouri Tigers would like to add a Defensive Tackle to their class for 2011.
Amarillo (TX) DT James Castleman 6'3" 260lbs is on their radar with an early offer. James talked to us awhile ago about his offer after he had received it. We caught up with him to get an update as to where his recruitment was at, including with the Tigers.
"Things are going good."said Castleman. "I currently have offers from Missouri, Baylor, Oklahoma St., and Texas Tech. Oklahoma is talking to me now and they say they will be watching me and evaluating me this spring."
Castleman has already taken spring visits to Oklahoma St.,Oklahoma and Texas Tech. He has Mizzou on his radar as a school he would like to try and visit in the near future.
"I am trying to work out a visit to Missouri." Castleman said." I would like to try and get up their soon before spring ball is over. I have heard a lot of good things about Missouri and I would like to check it out for myself."
Castleman did not list a favorite at the moment, although he spoke highly of his visit to OSU and the Cowboys interest in him.
James wasn't really sure when a possible decision would be made regarding his recruitment.
" I plan on making a decision before my senior season starts. But that could change depending on what all happens this spring and summer, and if I can get to visit all the schools I like or if new schools offer me that I want to see."
