Florida lineman talks about his interest in Missouri and coming visit

Columbia(M0. The Missouri Tigers are looking for a few good offensive lineman for their 2011 class. They are looking to Florida for one such lineman to help fill the recruiting class.

2011 OT prospect Tony Posada 6'6" 315  Tampa (FL) Plant told ShowMeMizzou that he currently holds "about 16 or 17 offers"  including Michigan, Missouri, USF, and Texas Tech among others.

Posada said that he doesn't "really have a top five,"  but that he would "put Missouri in a top five".

He has taken unofficial visits to Florida, and USF, and would like to try to visit Missouri, possibly for their spring game.  He said, "Right now, it's a 50-50 chance," that he'll make it to the Tigers' spring game.

"My family went to Missouri," said Posada.  "I have two cousins that went to Missouri, and that live in Kansas City.  We're going to go check out Missouri, and then go to Kansas City to visit our family."

"I like the coach, Coach Henson," said Posada.  "He's a great guy............ I try to give him a call about once a week."

Posada talked about how Missouri's starting tackles are heading into their junior years, and that he thinks that fits him pretty well.  Other criteria that he listed are the coaching staff, the atmosphere and location of the college, and academics.

He said, "I want to have a great college experience."

Posada self reports a 5.4 forty, 25" vertical jump, 330 lbs. maximum bench press, and 14 reps of 225 lbs..
