Petties Gives An Update

Oklahoma Safety and Tiger target shares where his recruitment is at now

Duncan, Oklahoma is home to three prospects on Missouri's 2011 shopping list. Missouri Assistant Josh Henson recently visited Duncan, and took time to check out Coach Holloway's bookend offensive tackles, Dylan Dismuke and Dylan Laurens. Dismuke already holds a Missouri offer and Laurens is hopeful of receiving one soon.

ShowMeMizzou caught up with their teammate, 2011 safety prospect Dominique Petties 6'1" 210 4.47 40" vertical, and he talked about his recruitment.

Petties currently holds offers from Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Baylor, Arizona, Tulsa, and Missouri. Notre Dame and Nebraska are both reportedly close to offering Petties. He's already visited Oklahoma, and says that the Sooners are his current favorite. But, he wants to examine his other opportunities, and Missouri is one of the schools that he would like to visit and find out more about.

Petties named Missouri among his top five schools at present, along with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Arizona, but indicated that his list could change as his offer list grows.

Petties also plays basketball and is a sprinter and high jumper on the school's track team.

Petties said that he would like to stay "close to home", and indicated a preference to play in the Big 12. He's not planning on making a decision until later in the year.
