KC Camp Brings Out Record Number

Rain holds off as talent shines during Kansas City one day camp

The Missouri Tigers held their final one day camp of the summer following their Springfield and St. Louis camps with a record number of kids attending their Kansas City camp.

Despite a rainy morning, a break came long enough for campers to learn and showcase their skills on the day.

2011 Tiger commits QB Corbin Berkstresser and DE Shane Ray were on hand to observe and chat with friends and teammates there.

Two of the top players in the area and the state were on hand as Blue Springs RB Darrian Miller and CB Bernard Thomas showed up. Darrian participated in drills but Bernard sat out after straining a leg muscle. Teammate Jordan Nubine was also at camp and looked good.

Players from as far away as Texas and Oklahoma made the trip up along with a good number of kids from Kansas, a few standouts from Iowa, as well as across the state from Jefferson City and St. Louis.

Massive 2012 DT Ondre Pipkins 6'3" 320 Park Hill (MO) caught the attenion of everyone there. Pipkins is a transfer from Rochester(MI) where he played vsrsity football as a sophomore. Look for big things from this lineman.

Pipkins wasn't the only standout underclassmen. There was a large group of talented kids on hand, inlcuding Lee's Summit West OL Evan Boehm 6'4" 290, who has multiple verbal offers including Missouri, and observed a large group of Titan teammates who were there.

A full rundown and detailed report on all the prospects at the camp will be coming soon.
