Following Missouri's one day camp in St. Louis, ShowMeMizzou spoke with camp attendee, 2011 OL Ryan Stout 6'3" 276 5.4 Broken Arrow (OK). He and his parents drove to St. Louis so that the big lineman could potentially improve his recruiting profile and exposure. Here's what he had to say about the camp.

"It was a good camp," said Stout. "It was fast-paced. There was a lot of good players there............... It was definitely a good (instructional) experience. And, I feel like I did pretty good."

Stout indicated that a number of schools are recruiting him, including Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Houston, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Missouri, among others, but that he does not yet have an offer.

Stout reported a 22" vertical, and a maximum bench press of 360 lbs., a maximum squat of 550 lbs., and a personal best in the power clean of 250 lbs..

Stout's a pre-qualifier academically, with a 3.5 GPA, and listed the educational opportunity afforded as one of his main criteria for choosing a school. He also cited the coaching staff, and potential playing time as important criteria for him, as well.

Stout told ShowMeMizzou that he felt that his St. Louis camp experience had been successful, and that he feels that he made a favorable impression on the Missouri coaching staff. He reported receiving some positive feed back, and said that he's "hopeful" that an offer might be forthcoming.
