Naff Gives Timeline For Decision

Oklahoma Tiger target updates us on his recruitment and timeline for picking a school

Del City (OK) OL Jamelle Naff 6'4" 311 recently spoke with to update us on the with his recruitment.

Naff has held a Missouri offer (which was his first) for several months and has seen a bunch of schools follow the Tigers lead with their own offers since that time.

"The latest is that Kansas State is suppose to have an offer for me according to my coach." said Naff. "I also have offers from Missouri,Wyoming, TCU, Kansas, Colorado, Arizona, Tulsa and New Mexico since I got my first one from Mizzou. Everything came fast after that."

Naff made his unofficial to Mizzou a while back and enjoyed his time there. While he doesn't have a short list yet, he mentions the Tigers as a school he still likes.

"Mizzou is still in the picture and will be. I liked it up there and it is real nice. The schools and coaches are real good."

Jamelle made a recent visit and that school seemed to make a very good impression on him as well.

"I went to TCU this past weekend and I really liked it."he said. "I could see myself going there. Everything was really nice.

There were reports after Naff attended the Oklahoma camp that the Sooners might jump into the mix with an offer. Did that happen?

"The OU camp was good. The OU coaches tell me that they need to see how the numbers work out before they offer me."

Naff said that he may still make unofficial visits to Kansas and Kansas State this summer since they are close, but that he may wait until he takes officials to visit others of interest.

He also gave me a timetable for a possible commitment to a school.

"I haven't made a short list yet. I plan on taking some official visits to schools like Colorado and Arizona for sure.I might take another visit to Missouri. I am looking at hopefully being able to make a decision by mid-year of my senior season."
