Wing On The Tigers Radar Screen

Kansas hoopster shares his thoughts on Mizzou and his recruitment

One of the many talented wing players in attendance at Missouri's Elite Camp earlier this summer was 2012 prospect Nathan Jackson 6'5" 190 Wichita (KS) East. Jackson is a long, athletic wing who is both quick and smooth, and who has a nice shooting touch. ShowMeMizzou.com caught up with this talented player, and he talked about his Missouri camp experience and his recruitment.

"It went good," said Jackson. "I really liked the coaches, and I liked the campus. I did pretty good down there."

Jackson plays AAU ball for Mo-Kan Elite, out of Kansas City.

He does not yet have any scholarship offers, but is being recruited by a number of schools, including Missouri, Wichita State, Louisiana State, Tulsa, TCU, Rice, Arkansas, Iowa State, Missouri State, South Dakota, Oregon State, and McNeese.

Jackson said that he's keeping all of his recruiting options open at present.

He likes to get in the lane, and can spot up from behind the arc. He likes to shoot it from the baseline, and from the wings. He says he can defend the two through four positions on the floor, and considers himself to be a good rebounder of the basketball. He's primarily a perimeter player, with good length and good shooting mechanics, and shooting touch.
