OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Teich, a senior co-captain from Conroe, TX, was an absolute warrior against Air Force
, carrying 35 times for a season-high 148 yards and the two-point conversion that tied the game with 19 seconds left. It was Teich's second 100 yard rushing effort of the season. Teich also had two receptions for 14 yards.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
French, a junior from Deatsville, AL, led the Mids' defense with six tackles, including 5 solo stops. He also had one tackle for a 4 yard loss.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Juriga, a junior from St. Charles, Ill., had one of the most exciting plays of a day, rumbling 16 yards on a fake punt deep in Navy
territory to continue a second quarter drive. It was Juriga's first career carry.
UNSUNG HERO OF THE WEEK
Turner, a junior from Renton, WA, recovered an onside kick with 2:04 left in the game to give the Mids' their chance to force overtime. Turner also caught two passes for 37 yards, including one for 26 yards on a 3rd-and-23 which led to Navy's first touchdown of the day.
