League City (TX) Clear Falls senior defensive end Rahn Bailey took an unofficial visit to Madison on Monday and left feeling very good after seeing various parts of the university, especially after his conversation with defensive coordinator Dave Aranda.
"My visit to Wisconsin went well," Bailey told BadgerNation. "I toured the athletic program, academic support and met with Coach Aranda. He talked to me about the defensive scheme and the position I would play for the Badgers defense."
Losing five scholarship linebackers after the 2014 season, the Badgers have been on a run of linebackers. And while UW has already accepted the commitments of three linebackers in the 2015 class, Bailey has the skill set to fit right in."
"I will be an outside linebacker in their scheme," he said. "I think I will fit in well because at my high school we run kind of the same scheme."
The 6-3, 220-pound Bailey holds offers from Bowling Green, Kansas, Navy, Nevada, Wake Forest and Wisconsin, but is looking to make a top list pretty soon. The Badgers seem to sit in very good position to land in there.
"I have one more visit and then I'll make a top list," said Bailey. "Although I have not made an official visit, Wisconsin has a lot of positive aspects that are appealing to me."
