Former Navy defensive back Blake Carter has died unexpectedly according to a report in the Annapolis Capital Gazette. Carter, who played at Navy from 2006 to 2009, had been stationed in Norfolk, Va., serving on the USS Wasp. Carter became a starter during his sophomore year at Navy and helped the team achieve a combined record of 35-28 during his time in Annapolis.
