SCOUT.COM ACADEMY PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Army West Point and Navy were both in action over the weekend while Air Force had a bye week. Scout.com names the Academy Players of the Week. Look inside to see who earned these honors.

ARMY WEST POINT


Matt Hugenberg
C, SENIOR
Matt Hugenberg, a senior center from Quincy, Ill., dominated all night long establishing the fullback dive as the Black Knights ran for 556 yards. It was the third best rushing performance in school history.

NAVY


Keenan Reynolds
QB, SENIOR

Reynolds, a senior from Antioch, Tenn., rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns on 28 carries and threw for a touchdown. Keenan moved into a second place tie with Travis Prentice of Miami of Ohio on the NCAA's all-time career list with 73 rushing touchdowns.

HONORABLE MENTION

ARMY: FB Aaron Kemper, led the Army rushing attack with a career high 147 yards. Kemper had a tremendous 56-yard touchdown run where he broke two tackles and made a nice cut to score; RB John Trainor, had a terrific all round game. He showed his speed and versatility as he ran four times for 69 yards and a score. Trainor caught two passes for 21 yards and his cut block opened the lane for Joe Walker's 63-yard touchdown run.
NAVY: NG Bernie Sarra, had an active day with four tackles, 1/2 a sack, a quarterback hurry and a key fumble recovery; LB Kevin McCoy, produced three tackles, 1 1/2 sacks, a QBH and forced a fumble in limited snaps. He made an impact as a pass rusher.
AIR FORCE: Bye week.
