The Navy Midshipmen defeated the Army Black Knights 21-17.

PHILADELPHIA-- The Navy Midshipmen were able to take advantage of a series of Army turnovers late in the game to secure their 14th straight victory in the 2015 Army-Navy game. Here is a commentary on the game as it happened.

FIRST QUARTER

12:39 Navy forced to punt on the opening possession for the first time all season.  Navy punt was returned 50 yards by Army.

8:35 Daiquan Thomasson with a nice pass breakup in the end zone to force Army to kick a field goal.  3-0 Black Knights lead.

7:58 Reynolds responds to quickly put Navy on top.  84th career touchdown from 58 yards away.

4:10 Army responds to Navy score with a 29-yard touchdown run by Tyler Campbell.  Black Knights lead 10-7.

4:03 Keenan Reynolds strikes Jamir Tillman downfield for a 35-yard completion.  Pass interference declined.  The pass would make Reynolds the first player in Navy history to go 1,000 passing-1,000 rushing in two seasons.

SECOND QUARTER

14:21 Reynolds takes off on a 35-yard rush to bring the Mids inside the 5-yard line.

12:18 Reynolds punches it in on third and goal for 85th career rushing touchdown.

4:24 Navy forces an Army punt and gets a break when it bounces into the end zone for a touchback. Mids lead 14-10.

2:08 Navy trailing again after Chris Carter finds Edgar Poe for a 39-yard touchdown pass.   

0:43 Navy with a gutsy call on fourth down.  Converting to position themselves midfield with 43 seconds remaining and two timeouts.

THIRD QUARTER

9:40 Pass break up by Army's Xavier Moss after an underthrown ball from Reynolds.

8:11 Army is doing a good job of shutting down the option against Navy.  Another nice 66-yard punt by Barta barely bounces into the end zone.  

7:20 Huge tackle in the backfield for a loss of two yards by junior Brendon Clements.

5:51 Navy scores on the first play as Keenan connects with Jamir Tillman who leaps into the end zone for a 50-yard touchdown pass.

4:45 Senior defensive end Will Anthony sacks Army for an 8-yard loss.  Second straight third down sack for the Midshipmen.

2:21 Navy forced to punt.  Army fair catches on the 20-yard line.  Mids leading Black Knights 21-17.

FOURTH QUARTER

14:31 Inside linebacker Daniel Gonzales down on the play walks off on his own.  Will be third-and-one for Army.

12:19 Navy holds the Black Knights on third-and-long.  Army misses 29-field goal wide left.  Midshipmen maintain a four-point lead.

9:46 Navy having trouble on third down conversions.  Haven't converted in their last eight attempts.  After a punt Army takes over at their 28.

8:33 Army marches down into scoring position and fumbles back to Navy.  

7:00 Navy with possession midfield leading 21-17.

4:00 On third-and-seven Navy stopped by Army's Alex Aukerman.  Navy then teasing with the idea of going for it on fourth down.

3:27 The Black Knights first play leads to an interception by Navy senior safety Lorentez Barbour.

3:17 Navy jumps offsides on third and short inside the 40.  Huge break for Army with 3:17 remaining.  Third-and-7.

Ball game.  Navy prevails 21-17.  Last second hail mary falls incomplete for the Black Knights.  Midshipmen extend winning streak to 14.

Navy (10-2) defeats Army (2-10) to 21-17 to win the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy in another record-setting night for Keenan Reynolds.  In his last matchup against the Black Knights, Reynolds was 6 for 14 for 113 yards passing, with 21 carries for 136 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
