Navy after Hawaii D-lineman Nakoa Pauole

Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo and his staff are busy looking for future Mids football players. One promising player is defensive lineman Nakoa Pauole of Honolulu, Hawaii. The Navy recently extended an offer to the 6-foot-2, 270 pound sack master.

Nakoa Pauole has offers from all three service academies.   Navy offered Pauole on Thursday, May 5, just a few days after Air Force offered but before Army offered.

Pauole has a big frame that could even grow more over the next couple years.  Watching his video, he is a very aggressive, tenacious lineman who pursues ball carriers with reckless abandon.

Last season Pauole, playing for Kamehameha high school, the promising prospect had 9 1/2 sacks and 21 tackles for losses.

In addition to the service academies, Pauole also has offers from Adams State (DII) and serious interest from home-state Hawaii.  Look for that list of schools to grow during this young man's senior season.
