Navy Football 2007: Quarterbacks

Today we continue our position-by-position preview of the 2007 Navy Midshipmen by taking a look at Navy's quarterbacks. Navy was hit by injury bug during the 2006 season but that resulted in returning experience for the 2007 season.

10 * Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada (5-11, 194, Jr.)- Thrust into the starting lineup after an injury sidelined starter Brian Hampton during the Rutgers game. Rushed for 507 yards in 131 carries. Completed 23 of 48 passes for 384 yards, 5 touchdowns and 1 interception. Kaipo is a fearless runner with blazing speed.
2 Jarod Bryant (5-10, 185, Jr.)- Saw action in 11 games rushing for 86 yards in 18 carries. Completed 6 of 15 passes for 42 yards. Bryant, while not as fast as Kaipo, is more of a shifty and elusive runner. The former Mr. Football in Alabama could push Kaipo for the starting nod.
14 Troy Goss (6-2, 211, Sr.)- Goss started the 2006 season as a wide receiver but was moved back to his original quarterback position after the injury to Hampton. Saw action during the 2005 game against Army.
